Here is part of the terms and conditions of the Life 100.3 FM Ottawa Adventure Contest.
2.Contest is open to Ontario residents (unless prohibited by law) who are 18 years of age or older at the Contest opening date. Employees of LIFE 100.3, Directors, contest sponsors, their immediate families and/or persons living in the same household are not eligible to enter this Contest. A total of one on-air and one online entry is eligible per household address, name, and/or family residing in same house.
3. PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES On May 2, 2024, two random draws will be conducted by LIFE 100.3 from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period, one for the on-air entries and another for the online entries. The first contestants selected during each draw shall be declared the winner, subject to meeting all the conditions described in these rules. The Winners will be announced at approx. 8:20am on May 3, 2024. Winners will be contacted by phone or email within 5 business days of the draws should claim their prize as instructed by LIFE 100.3 by no later than five days after the date they are initially contacted. If a winner cannot be reached within five days following the first attempt to contact, declines the prize, or fails to return the required release form, the prize shall be forfeited and LIFE 100.3 has the right, at its sole discretion, to select another winner.
4. DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE(S) Each of the two winners will receive a voucher for a Mini Family Getaway from Wilderness Tours, valid for 2 adults and 2 kids ages 5-12 with a Sunday-Thursday arrival. It includes 2 nights Cedar Cabin accommodation, 1 family rafting day trip, 1 raft and rod package, and 6 meals. Gift certificate expires August 30, 2024. Winners are responsible to pay the applicable Service Charge and HST. The total approximate retail value of each prize is $1,254. Winners may choose to add people or make upgrades at their own expense through the prize sponsor. Any additional costs, food, travel expenses or upgrades will be the responsibility of the voucher holder. The prize is a digital voucher that will be emailed to the winners.
